Skills-test candidates over the Internet
JobSkills is available to test job vacancy
candidates over the Internet. It allows you to ask candidates specific
questions on a given subject. The higher a candidate's JobSkills score, the
more knowledgeable they are and the most likely that you will want to interview
them. It is also an essential part of JobNet and TestNet. It is ideal for testing overseas' candidates.
Questions can be selected from a pre-set batch or can be selected individually. Four different types of questions can be accessed: Multiple Choice, True/False,
Priority List and Free Text. Click here to see if we have the tests that you're looking for.
JobSkills – Main Benefits
- JobSkills saves you time and money by only
interviewing pre-qualified candidates.
- JobSkills gives you greater control over
your recruitment process.
- JobSkills helps you to fill your vacancy
quicker.
- JobSkills will help defeat fabricated
CVs/résumées by validating an applicant's qualifications in defined
subject areas.
- Tailor-make your own set of skills questions.
JobSkills – Creation Process
- The employer logs in to jobcircles.co.uk using the Corporate Login.
- The Corporate Main Menu page shows all
current job vacancies pertaining to that company and all skills
tests collections that are current.
- From the "Go to JobNet" link the scheduler
is taken to the JobNet Control Panel. Alternatively, the scheduler
can click on the "Go to TestNet" link if an entry on the JobBoard
is not required.
- From the Vacancy Management Menu, the employer creates a vacancy using the New
Vacancy Wizard and chooses to include JobSkills skills questions. The employer
completes the wizard and a dedicated vacancy webpage (URL) is generated. e.g. http://www.jobcircles.co.uk/vacancyapply.aspx?id=1
- The employer places an advert containing
the dedicated vacancy webpage address or emails a candidate
directly.
- The candidate reads the newspaper ad,
job-posting, email or visits the jobcircles.co.uk JobBoard.
- If a TestNet only has been created
then the scheduler proceeds with the JobSkills wizard and invites
a candidate to take the tests.
- The candidate accesses the dedicated
vacancy or skills tests collection webpage.
- The candidate views the vacancy
information and decides to continue with the application.
- The candidate completes their personal
details and uploads their CV/résumée.
- The candidate is then asked skills
questions by JobSkills.
- The scheduler periodically checks the View
Vacancy Applicants screen that summarises the candidate's score to
the skills questions. The candidate's personal details and
CV/résumée can also be viewed from here.
- The employer makes the decision to interview the candidate, or not.
